Finished Mad Men Dress

Sorry for the super cheesey cut out collage. I was in a rush to get this post up since technically Friday the 30th was YESTERDAY in Australia!

I would like to give Miss Julia a huge thank you for hosting such an awesome sewing challenge! I had a lot of fun planning this project, I only wish I blocked myself out more time to complete it. I may or may not have had time to hem the skirt bottom and sleeves ;)

Tune in to Julia’s blog on April 1st for one amazing Mad Men dress parade!

Have a great weekend everyone!

It turned out so so great! The color and pattern is very unique – not very spring like but I totally like it :)

Totally not a spring fabric at all, but I’m happy with the way it turned out for this particular challenge :)

Cute!!! I love that you used the extra fabric in your hair. I want to do that with some of my Truffle leftovers. Love your glasses!

    • Rochelle New April 2, 2012 at 1:39 pm #

Aww thanks pretty lady :) Dude I love your glasses more, and your truffle fabric would make an amazing anything. Especially a hair scarf!
