Make This Dress

I love falling in love with a dress, and then realizing I can recreate it myself! There’s something extremely satisfying about sewing your own clothing. I’m definitely adding this project to the top of my list after the Queen City Craft Bazaar is over. I’ve got A LOT of things to do still to prepare for that!

Anywho, I found this gorgeous dress by Bernie Dexter (whom I love!) on Modcloth and was instantly smitten! The closer I looked at the fabric, the more I recognized it! The Eiffel Tower print by Michael Miller can be found on fabric.com and for a steal! It is available in other colors if you’re not fond of the aqua and red, but seriously, who doesn’t love aqua and red?!

There are MANY patterns you could use to recreate this dress, but I think this super cute Halter Dress by NewLook is pretty spot on! I may just have to scoop up this pattern and order the fabric sooner than later!

Anyone one now upset with me for inspiring another project to add to your list? You’ll thank me later ;)

Have a great weekend everyone!!

I'm a fabric wizard and wielder of needles with a passion for quilt industry cottons, bygone eras, and natural things.

i.e. I mostly do nerd things like pretend I'm a wizard, collect moldy books, and spend too much time picking up acorns in the woods, all with my spirit animal (a dog named Lucille), my personal photographer (a man named William), and a few literal fat cats in tow.
