Sew Colette August Pattern Winner

Hello!

I almost completely forgot to announce the next project for Sew Colette 2…

That’s right, it’s Macaron! Though the Parfait dress was leading the poll on my blog, after adding up all the votes, Macaron is the winner. This is an intermediate pattern, but you shouldn’t be intimidated by that. This will be my first time sewing macaron too!

Be sure to check out the Colette page (photos of Macaron at the bottom) to get some super awesome inspiration for this dress. We’ll be starting in August so everyone should have plenty of time to buy their pattern. (Myself included!)

I’m excited for this one!! How about you?

    Oh perfect! This pattern has been sitting in my drawer for awhile now and I just haven’t been able to get around to sewing it. Partially because I’m so in love with the color/fabric combo of the colette sample that I’m having trouble thinking outside of the box! Is it bad to just make an exact copy???
