Sew Colette – August Project Poll

Hi there!

We’ve had a few requests to announce the Sew Colette 2 projects a little earlier for those out of the U.S. who need a little extra time to receive printed patterns. Your wish is our command! In my side bar you will find a poll for the August Sew Along project to be chosen by YOU!

If you plan to sew along with us next month, please vote for one of the following:


Macaron – Parfait – Cinnamon – Iris

Take your time and really get a good look at each pattern. Consider what you’d like to learn, fabrics you’ve been itching to use, or an event that you may be planning a project for. Be sure to check out the Colette Flickr Pool for some really awesome inspiration on each of these garments. The Cinnamon actually makes a super cute sundress! The options for Macaron and Parfait are endless! The polls will be open for 6 days, and you are encouraged to vote on Sarah and Erin’s blogs too! So that gives you 3 total chances to vote for your favorite :)

    Off the subject came across a belt you made for a dress and a comment saying you will post a tutorial. Did you do one as I can’t see a tutorial category or a search box on your blog to look. Wouldn’t mind making one. If you haven’t done one than am being a little premature lol.

      Hi! I have not posted the belt tutorial yet. I’m currently in the process of re-working my site to make it more user friendly/searchable, with an actual page with tutorials on it. Sorry, I know my site is totally useless as far as searchability goes! I’m definitely working on making the change sooner than later :)
