It’s my birthday on Monday (the big quarter of a century!) so I thought I’d share a few things on my wish list just for fun.
First I’d really love this Product Photography Primer course on Craftsy. I watched the preview and it looks really informative. It would be awesome for William and I to watch it together since he takes most of the photos of me that end up on this blog. Plus I’d love to get better at product photography for my online shop and promotional items.
Secondly I’d love some yardage of my own Pea Green Retro Stars fabric in some sort of Pendrell appropriate weight. I’m not sure if this green is my color or not, but I guess there’s only one way to find out! Oh, and I might as well add pretty much every other Sewaholic pattern to my wishlist as well. I’m WAY late to the Sewaholic bandwagon even though I’ve known about Tasia’s patterns for years. It’s a crying shame I haven’t had the chance to actually sew them yet!!
My sewing area is seriously lacking in the wall art department so I would love one of these posters to spruce up my space. I can’t decide if I like the Sew for Victory or Rosie poster better. Rosie is iconic and my hero, but the Sew for Victory one is just way too perfect!
Although these ridiculously adorable “Dirty Thirties” shoes are totally not practically for me to own this time of year, I still want them! They’re so cute! I hear great things about this book so I think it would really benefit me and my crafty business endeavors. Finally I’m really in love with this jacket and I definitely could use some outwear that isn’t a full on snowboard coat.
Buuuuut really when it comes down to it, I’ll probably just get fabric and office supplies for my birthday haha! That’s what I really need. It’s always fun to make a list though and I’ll be happy if I don’t get anything on it as long as I still get cake!
That’s why people keep having birthdays right? For cake?
