Just wanted to check in with Sew For Victory and see how everyone is doing! I am SO EXCITED with how many people are interested in 40′s sewing and have decided to sew along. There are over 80 members in the Flickr Group right now! That’s so awesome! I was trying to write back to everyone individually who introduced themselves in the Flickr discussion, but in just a few days I couldn’t keep up with all the comments! Sorry for that, but I promise I am checking out your blogs and reading about your experiences and interests if you cared to share them in that thread. I love seeing everyone’s inspirational photos, project progress, and general engagement with each other! Keep it up!
Also (for those unable to watch the video right now) let me know if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to cover or elaborate on in this sew along that would be beneficial for you. There are still lots of topics I have planned to post about in the near future, but I will certainly add to those things if you’d like!
Let me know
Here are all the posts in Sew For Victory so far, in case you missed one or want to check back on something.
p.s. Sorry for the issue with my site yesterday. I wasn’t hacked or on any kind of “probation”, we were just experiencing a massive miss-communication from the web masters when they were switching my site over to a new server. Anyways, it should FINALLY be fixed now in ALL regions of the world, but if it’s not please let me know!

Hey Rochelle. Love your blog – I really wish I could take part in the Sew for Victory but I have absolutely no time to sew at all right now!
Just to let you know, I’ve nominated you for an Inspiring Blogger Award over at http://helenssewingadventures.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/blogging-award.html

You are just the cutest gal around! Love those glasses! You are soooo effervescent and cheerful on camera. Anything you want to blog about is a-ok in my books, I adore all of your posts.

Oh good! I’m glad you can see me
You are so cute! I’m waiting on the 2 fashion fabrics (and 1 lining) I ordered… I couldn’t decide so I figured I’d use one fabric now, and save one for the future. Which means I should really start my muslin, but I am psyching myself up for it.
WOOOOOO GO MUSLIN!!!!!!!! YEAAAHHHHHH!!! …how was that? lol
Having never been a cheerleader I’m still feeling an incredible urge to shout ”
GOOOO TEAM!!!!”
I’d love some tips on how to work with vintage patterns. Also some hints on 40s hair and make up would be fabulous
You got it!
I am looking forward to the hair and makeup tips!
