Well this is a long overdue post… Originally we planned to bring back the Sew Colette Sew-Alongs in conjunction with Sarai’s Spring Palette Challenge. However, with the coming release of the most recent Colette pattern on the 19th, Sarai has her own plans for a big sewing compition/sew along type deal. Very exciting! Rather than try to overlap Sew Colette, the new pattern release, and the Palette Challenge, we’re letting Sarai take the reins with all things Colette for the Spring. But fear not! Sarah and I will be back in the early fall season with a new and improved Sew Colette Sew Along with some slight changes in format. For example: you’ll be voting on your favorite patterns as always but TWO patterns will be chosen, one led by Sarah and one led by me (but both sewn at the same time). So you’ll have more of a chance to sew the pattern that you voted on, and there will be less confusion between blogs by following just one pattern per blog. I plan to do more step-by-step instructions with each pattern instead of the loose instruction we had before. We’ll also be sticking with a bi-monthly schedule, but not every single month so you’ll still have time to sew your other favorite independent patterns in between. Sound good? I think so!
In the mean time get ready for some Colette sewing with the brand new pattern to be released on Tuesday (did Sarai drop us a massive hint to what the pattern might be, here??)!

I’m excited to see what the new pattern is (though probably unpopularly, I’m not hoping for a shift dress, lol). I’m looking forward to your sew-along in the fall, too, I know it will be great! I have some Collete patterns I seriously need to finally sew up!
