Sew For Victory Deadline Extended!

That’s right! I was noticing some tweets and blog posts from Sew For Victory participants starting to stress about not finishing their garments by the 29th. I’d hate for any of you to work so hard this whole time only to not finish because you needed just one extra weekend.

So I’ve extended the deadline to April 1st!

Please have your completed project photos uploaded to the Sew For Victory Flickr pool along with a link to your blog post if you choose to write about your garment. It would also be helpful for me if you mention it’s your final garment in the description somewhere. I’d love to see everyone actually wearing their garment, but since the photos will be going on my public blog, I’ll understand if anyone prefers to share just their outfit and not themselves. I will be rounding up these photos and including them in a project parade blog post here on Lucky Lucille following the conclusion of the sew along.

I was going to start the giveaways after the project parade, but now that I’ve extended the time limit, I think I’ll start them the last week of March.  Most of the giveaway prizes will be offered up ONLY for Sew For Victory participants, and joining up in the Flickr pool will be the easiest way for me to tell who’s been involved. So make sure you do that if you haven’t yet 😉

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, etc, please let me know.
We’re on the home stretch here 🙂

Be sure to spread the word on the extension so everyone is up to date!

So glad to hear this. I finished my blouse but not my pants. I kind of put things on hold last week so I could finish another sewing project for a trip this weekend!

You are an angel! I’m definitely one of the people struggling with the deadline – having been separated from my poorly sewing machine for 8 days, coupled with a busy month was looking problematic. But I’m so grateful for the extension…thank you!!!
