First of all, I want to say a huge enormous thank you to everyone who voted for Lucky Lucille in the Craftsy Blogger Awards! We won! I am truly honored to have such devoted readers, and to be recognized by such an amazing company. I’m all smiles!! Congrats to all of the winners, runner ups, and nominees :)

William and I are on our way to a WWII reenactment this weekend and I have to pack two bags because my hair stuff needs a suitcase all its own. Ha! I usually do a farm girl impression, but this event is taking place at a railroad museum so I’m trying out a college/canteen girl impression too. I’m super excited to go, but I will miss my baby dog very much. She’s in good hands with her uncle though.

Did everyone have a good Halloween? Wil and I enjoyed a low key evening filled with vintage spooky songs, pumpkin carving, a Supernatural marathon, and popcorn. Not a bad way to spend Halloween if you ask me! Do you like my Victory pumpkin? I’m pretty proud of it :)

Well, we’re off to our reenactment! I’ll definitely have lots of photos to share next week when we get back.

Have a great weekend!

Congratulations, Rochelle. I am so happy you won! I came across your website just recently, and saw that it is very informative. It is obvious that because of your love for sewing, the 1940’s, animals (and other things), your words and photography efforts come through. Truly, you deserve the win!

Your Victory jack-o-lantern is, hands down, the coolest carved pumpkin (or pumpkin, period) I’ve seen this year. It’s just so, so, soooo fabulously awesome!
