FREE June 2015 Desktop Wallpaper Calendar

Can you believe it’s almost June already?! I certainly can’t… but speaking of months flying by, one thing I’ve really enjoyed doing lately is making calendar backgrounds for my computer. Adding a little bit of vintage sewing inspiration to my laptop just makes me happier to open it, and who couldn’t use a little of that before tackling emails or other mundane work/school things? Well if you think you could use something like that, you can download it here for free 🙂

I made the background to ideally fit a screen resolution of 1366×768 (which is the most common screen size), but it’s a pretty large file so it should work for many different resolutions.

If you’re not sure how to change your desktop background, here are some tutorials for both Mac and Windows. With Windows you can follow the download link above and right click the image to change the background directly from that browser tab, or right click to save the image for later. I think it looks best on a 1366×768 screen with the “Fill” placement if you have that option.

and Happy Memorial Day 🙂

  • Thank you for this wallpaper!

Oooh lovely! Thanks for this – it’s so pretty! I’ve also taken the opportunity to clear my desktop!! x

  • That is so splendidly sweet of you! Thank you very much, lovely Rochelle. I second your disbelief that June is nearly here already. This year hasn’t always felt terribly quick to me, but to be at the start of the sixth month mark makes my head spin like a vintage top! 🙂

I hope these last few days of May are beautiful ones for you!

  • I love my May one 😉

Thank you, Chica. Will install and think of you when I look at it. If this is going to be a new “thing” for you, Rochelle, would you consider including a woman of color along with the regular gals? Just a thought as you do have a diverse following/readership.

    • You’re welcome 🙂 The diversity of my readers is something I appreciate very much and I would never want to do anything to make someone feel excluded, offended, or undervalued in any way. Unfortunately, my vintage catalog collection (where I take images to make these collages) is horribly un-diverse 🙁 In the future I will try to find other sources, or I’ll simply focus more on fabric and clothing (that’s my favorite part anyway!), and less on models. Thank you for speaking up and sharing your thoughts on the subject.

Thanks! I just switched my background to this one. It’s so pretty that I cleaned off my desktop so I could see it better.

    • Haha! Hooray for clean desktops! I did the same thing actually. It’s a nice monthly reminder to de-clutter my screen 🙂
