It’s a winter wonderland here in Vermont right now and I’m loving it!! I can’t wait to grab my snowboard at my Mom’s house when we’re there for Thanksgiving. William and I can’t wait to ride. I took Lucille out for a walk this morning and I couldn’t tell if she was happy or super annoyed with all of the snow. The poor kid has very little hair on her belly so we bundle her up nice and warm during the winter. She hated her winter boots though so we can’t take her out for long walks in the winter.
The snow was almost up to her chest! I’m definitely glad I wore double layers of pants and my tall boots. I think we got 7 inches over night and it’s still coming down! Hopefully the roads are clear before Liam and I leave for NY.
I let Lu run off leash by this little pond behind our house. It’s secluded and there usually aren’t any other people or dogs down there so she can run around like crazy! Emphasis on the crazy, look at that face!! Haha!! She likes to play by herself most of the time since pushy dogs make her really nervous. She wasn’t well socialized before I rescued her but she starts Doggy School next week to work on that! She has a few doggy friends, but they’re all back in NY 🙁
Seriously! That face! It kills me she’s so cute. We only did a couple zoomie laps before she started to get cold and wanted to head home. She was bunny hopping over snow banks the whole way. Now she’s curled up on the couch and I’m finishing up this post before I have to finish packing and cleaning up before our little trip. I think my family is more excited to see Lucille than me. I really can’t blame them though. Again, just look at that face!
Have a safe holiday everyone!
I’ll be back on Monday!
