I’m back home in Vermont after an awesome weekend with family and friends in NY! I can’t wait to share photos from my friend’s St. Patricks Day wedding. It was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever been to! It was so beautiful, simple, and heartfelt. There were so many people I wish I could have seen when I was home, but the short amount of time I had to spend with my family was wonderful and much needed! Not to mention I got to see my kitties (all 5 of them!). I miss them ever so much 🙂
My newly wed friend said ‘I Do’ in the most beautiful little conservatory! Like, seriously beautiful. I took so many pictures of just the plants alone!
My brother came back with us to check out some schools, so I rode home in the back seat with Miss Lucille. She’s so good in the car. She just sleeps the whole time, but I still make her wear her doggy seat belt for safety!
I’m starting off my Monday morning with some Patsy Cline! She’s so beautiful. I’ve been listening to her a lot lately. My Mom sent me home with a little hot pot that says it’s made to heat water, but she swears you can use it for soup too. I’m not so sure I’m convinced it’s made for soup heating, but I tried it anyways. It worked, but I must not have rinsed it very well when I cleaned it because my soup definitely tasted like soap, which smells like basil. I guess that’s not so bad. I have a whole slew of things to work on at the shop this week so I’ll be busy! …I also bought a new dress and cardigan before we left NY. I really want to start making ALL of my own clothes, but I just don’t have time right now. After the craft fair I’m totally focusing on personal sewing!!
I’ll leave you with some more little peaks of the shop I’m so lucky to work at 🙂
Wedding pics and sew-along updates soon!!
Happy Monday All!
